Our
Family

IMG_4575 - Copy (2).jpg

Circle R Valley Farms is our home and we're located in sunny Southern California. We're a family of 6 that loves all our animals, Homeschooling, and Jesus. We live on almost 3 acres and love having the space to raise our family and animals. Our Mini Farm consists of Chickens, Dogs, a Tortoise, and a fish(yep just one). All our animals are our pets first. We take the time to love on them, hold them and tend to by us and our 4 children. Our Dogs have a whole Acre to themselves to run and explore.

Our Mini Farm isn't large but we do enjoy adding animals from time to time. As a family, we all participate in raising our animals together. Before we add any new additions to our fur family, we make sure we are ready and prepared for each new additions.

Our
Bordoodles

IMG_3527.jpg

Currently we are breed F1b Reverse Bordoodles, F1 Bordoodles and F1b Bordoodles.  Here is the breakdown of each Bordoodle litter we breed.

F1b Reverse Bordoodles:

So, what is an F1b Reverse Bordoodle? They are 75% Border Collie and 25% Poodle, giving you a little more Border Collie in looks and in behavior. Poodles and Border Collies are incredibly smart and breeding the two together gives you a dog that is Brilliant.

Why breed back to the Border Collie and not to the Poodle? We chose to breed back to the Border Collie for those who aren't looking primarily for hypoallergenic but are lovers of Border Collies but would like less drive. That is actually how we stumbled upon our F1 Bordoodle Sadie. Poodles do bring a little more calmness and slightly less working drive than a Border Collie. If you're wanting to have the smarts both bring but not the working drive, then F1b Reverse is a great dog to have.  The traits of the Reverse are more in line with a border collie as far as easy training goes, but because both Sonic and Tod are incredibly low drive these Reverses aren't looking for a job to do. They make for wonderfully versatile homes!  Hands down this is been our FAVORITE generation of the Bordoodle.

Bordoodles are considered hypoallergenic, but F1b Reverse Bordoodles can have more shed as they only have 25% poodle.  They are medium to low shed.

Our Reverse Bordoodles looks are incredible.  You can have some that have the structure and coat texture of a Border Collie to some having curl and then in everything in between.

F1 Bordoodles:

F1 Bordoodles are 50% poodle and 50% Border Collie. When you think of a Bordoodle, an F1 is usually the most common.

The temperaments of an F1 are fun because some can take on the characteristics of the poodle and others the characteristics of the Border Collie. In our case we currently have 1 pairing of the F1's and they are very sweet and very personable.  This 50/50 combo has a sweet balance.  No matter which combo you pick you will still inherait one of the smartest breeds out there, the Border Collie.

Just like any F1 doodle, they still have a little bit of shed because they are half border collie. F1's have a wavy coat to loose curl coat. The thickness of the coat varies on the parents.

F1b Bordoodles:

F1b Bordoodles are 75% poodle and 25% Border Collie.

If you're looking for a Bordoodle that has far less shed, then this is the match up for you.

As far as temperament and structure, this pairing will bring more of a poodle look. Again because there is a little bit of Border Collie, you will have the quick whit in this match up as well.  But you will have more of the looks and mannerisms of a poodle. Just like the other Bordoodles, they will be very smart and quick to learning and a little quirky-that's the poodle.

F1b's are more poodle so the opportunity for less shedding is here. They will all have more curly than wavy coats as they will pull more curl from both parents then the straight. Shedding will be little to none.

All of our parent dogs have been health tested and cleared through Embark and their vet before they are bred. It's important to us that we only breed dogs that have been cleared medically. Even though we only have a few dogs, we want to make sure we're producing healthy, loved, and beautiful puppies that will have a great life after they have left our home go to yours.
