The Program
ENS/ESI/BaB
Popping out puppies and sending them off isn't how we operate. How does that set you, the new family up for success? It doesn't.
We take time from the moment we bred two of our dogs together until they leave our arms and enter yours so make sure these puppies are loved, cared for, and most importantly are exposed to many different experiences they may come across in their new homes.
Once our puppies are 3 days old we begin Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction. Why is this important? The short version...to prepare their senses that are aware before the rest of them begin to function. We capitalize on their sense of smell and touch for the first 2 weeks of life. Then once their eyes begin to open and they get better on their feet, we begin to introduce new objects into their whelping box. This continues daily and well past their larger pen set up, past weening from mom, all the way to getting crate training, potty training, sit training and leash exposure.
Our puppies will also experience many different sound exposures as well like fireworks, sirens, pots and pans, vacuums, everyday household sounds, variety of music, and much more. Also, do you have an unusual sound or scenario you need your pup to know about, let us know! We have lots of fun teaching them and watching them experience all these things.
Once they are 6 weeks old, we will test all the puppies on their experiences and let you know how they scored. This is very helpful to place the right puppy with you. The choice is yours, but we like to have you take into consideration how each puppy you're interested tested. It's beneficial for both you and your new puppy.
After 6 weeks we begin the final prep for your puppy to go home to you. This is where crate training, sit, leash, potty outside regularly, and possible flight crate training takes place. We do all of this because we CARE. We care about you, our puppies, and our sanity! Ha! Having this program we have found creates more success for ALL of us. The puppies learn EARLY where potty should go, to sit when they want something, learn to be gentle and sweet, and to be the SMARTEST doodles out there.
